Important Notice: Book Your Calendar (BYC) is not a payment gateway. All financial transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and disputes are securely handled by Razorpay. BYC only facilitates scheduling-related payment workflows between users.
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on Book Your Calendar ("we," "our," or "us"). Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.
1. Free Users
No Refunds for Free Services: Book Your Calendar offers a free tier with unlimited meetings at no cost. Free users are not eligible for refunds as the service is provided at no charge.
2. Paid Subscription Refunds
Refunds for paid subscriptions are only available under the following specific circumstances:
2.1 Platform Bug Not Fixed Within 7 Days
Refund Eligibility: If you report a platform bug that prevents you from using a paid feature, and we fail to fix the bug within 7 days of your report, you may be eligible for a refund for the current billing period.
To qualify for a refund under this condition:
- You must report the bug via our support channels (email or support ticket)
- The bug must be verified by our technical team
- The bug must directly impact a paid feature you are using
- We must fail to provide a fix or workaround within 7 days
2.2 Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Payment Processing Fees: All payment processing fees charged by Razorpay are non-refundable.
- GST (Goods and Services Tax): All applicable GST and taxes are non-refundable.
- Subscription Cancellation: When you cancel your subscription, access stops immediately. No refunds are provided for the remaining billing period unless the 7-day bug fix condition applies.
3. Payment Processing and Disputes
Razorpay Responsibility: All payment processing, including refunds, chargebacks, and transaction disputes, is handled exclusively by Razorpay. Book Your Calendar does not process payments directly and is not responsible for:
- Payment transaction failures
- Chargeback requests
- Payment disputes between users and Razorpay
- Refund processing delays
- Payment gateway technical issues
4. Failed Transactions
Automatic Reversal: If a payment transaction fails, Razorpay automatically reverses the transaction. The funds are typically returned to your account within 3-7 business days, depending on your bank or payment method. Book Your Calendar does not control this process.
5. User Disputes
Not Responsible for User Disputes: Book Your Calendar is not responsible for disputes between users (e.g., service provider vs customer). This includes:
- Disputes about the quality of services provided
- Disputes about meeting cancellations or rescheduling
- Disputes about payment amounts or service fees
- Any disagreements between service providers and their clients
All such disputes must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
6. Subscription Cancellation
Immediate Access Termination: When you cancel your subscription, access to paid features stops immediately. You will continue to have access to free features. No refunds are provided for the remaining billing period unless the 7-day bug fix condition applies.

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the 7-day bug fix condition, please:

- Provide details of the bug you reported, including the date and ticket number
- Explain how the bug prevented you from using a paid feature
- Wait for our team to verify your eligibility
Note: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the billing period in which the bug was reported.
8. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed through Razorpay
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
- Payment processing fees and GST are non-refundable
